Carlos Alegre

Carlos Alegre has nearly 20 years of structural consulting expertise, and he is the Principal-in-Charge of QDA’s new Cambridge Office, primarily supporting projects in the Waterloo Region.  Carlos has worked on projects for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients, and he has dedicated his career to new construction projects and the structural restoration field. Carlos works collaboratively with clients, contractors, and the design team to provide highly efficient and practical solutions.

 

Carlos is often a key figure in the concept and detailed design, the preparation of construction documentation, and contract administration. Carlos has assisted dozens of clients on projects involving modifications, expansions, rehabilitations, reinforcements, and assessments, including both permanent and temporary structures. In particular, he has dedicated much of his career to the structural restoration field where he has been responsible for overseeing the condition assessment and rehabilitation of parking garages and apartment structures, as well as the restoration of masonry structures.
