Mark Hunter

Mark Hunter has been with Quinn Dressel Associates for 5 years. His expertise includes the structural design of concrete and steel structures, nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete structures, structural dynamic analysis, and seismic design.  Mark has project experience in the industrial, commercial, healthcare, residential, and hospitality sectors.

Mark was extensively involved in the design of the Niagara Falls Entertainment Centre, a vast project which presented multiple design challenges for the team. He successfully accommodated the Architectural requests for elimination of visual obstructions to achieve the best theatre views for future patrons. Most recently, Mark has worked on the design of several condominium buildings ranging from 24 to 62 stories tall. His comprehensive theoretical background, paired with his skills in collaborative design, allow him to develop efficient solutions which take advantage of advanced analysis techniques, for the design of complex and simple structures alike. Prior to joining Quinn Dressel Associates, Mark earned a Bachelor of Applied Science with honours from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Applied Science from the University of Toronto.
